However, there is a 4k used EV credit available for used EVs 25k or less. So there might be some deals to be had in that price range.

The go-to hybrids are the Chevy Volt and BMW i3 REx. The latter has a lot more electric range - it's essentially a full EV with a little motorbike engine to top it up.

2024年3月24日 · There are Model S cars on the road going on 10 plus years. I think Tesla has a bad reputation among some because of Elon and also for others because the fit and finish. My guess is the later has a lot more to do with people jumping up in price to get a 40 or 50k car and seeking perfection.

2023年4月24日 · Main thing you can do is go for a lower mileage car, less miles = less charge cycles = better battery SOH. The cars your looking at though are all cars with good battery chemistry. There isn’t much advise to give because there is a lot less to go wrong compared to ICE. The main niggles for an EV from my experience is all software based.

The thing is, they advertise the price **after** the $4,000 credit. So they're looking to take the credit at the time of purchase, which seems to be a new thing. But oddly, some of their cars are listed for sale over $21,000 after the credit, which means the price before the credit is over $25,000 which means the cars don't qualify.
