Totally agree. Private sellers are the best deal usually for a used car. Used car lots are a gamble. For every honest used car lot there's two sketchy ones trying to dump problem cars on someone else. If you can buy a car from the original owner, that's usually the best option imo (especially if it's an older model with low mileage for its age.)
