2021年1月10日 · I don't foresee needing to run any more large cables or plumbing across the van. All large gauge DC and both AC and DC panels are all on the driver side along with the battery bank and inverter. Any smaller gauge wire for branch circuits I'll run in walls and ceiling. Here's a couple more pics showing the transition to interior wiring.

2020年1月18日 · I run a (nominal) 600 W microwave from a 1000 watt modified sine wave (read: cheap) inverter hung on a 67 amp hour AGM battery. (only recently have i added solar) Back (in 2006) when the battery was new, it could continuously *run* the microwave for more than 20 minutes before getting down to 50% state of charge.

2024年3月8日 · Well I took the Sprinter to a reputable shop and it's reman motor time, #1,2,3 cylinders have less then 100psi #5 0psi. Fuel rail had water setting in it for a long time since the previous owner didn't do a very good job of capping off the fuel lines, the fuel pump is trashed and two of the glow plugs were snapped off and the turbo is also trashed.

2017年4月26日 · Third, I put on a lotta very kind miles: warm up in cold weather, shift "D" and "R" before pulling out first time, run in "4" instead of "D" for in-town driving or any stop-n-go situation; do mostly freeway/Interstate miles with cruise control at 70+ (often 75 but never higher).

2019年7月24日 · Once I exposed the hole I just gouged out the styrofoam to find the hole I drilled up from the inside of the coat closet. Then it was easy to run the wires into the over door panel and connect then to the solar pre-wire pair. Or if your running larger wire, run the down the side of the coat closet directly to the battery box.

2016年9月14日 · Much easier to run AWG10 through the roof, through glands, around the van, etc than AWG4 or 6, and cheaper too. (*) Vcharge may be 12-15V depending on battery, SoC, charging cycle, etc. I'm using 14-ish as a representative number.
