2023年6月12日 · For the longest time, my Minecraft game has rested comfortably in my SSD D:\ drive of 500 GB. My C:\ hard drive only holds about 100 GB and space is at a premium. In the past year, Minecraft updated their launcher so that *only* seems to be able to run from C:\, even if you go to Apps & Features and have Windows move it to D:\.

I stored the texture pack on my Google Drive account and the link directly redirects to the zip file. It contains the assets folder, pack.mcmeta and pack.png files. Any clue what else might be incorrect that causes this issue?

2017年3月7日 · I also just tested it, and it doesn't work - the Minecraft launcher will not run if you use the USB-MC JAR. If you run the launcher on its own, it pulls data from AppData on the local disk. Additionally, my launcher will run on any system that can run executable files, so any Mac or Linux machine with WINE should run it without issue.
