2021年9月28日 · MS is concentrating their gaming on Gamepass streaming, and/or streaming from your Xbox, so I don't think they would put much effort into making a tablet gaming ready. Just get a controller and you already have a "gaming" tablet.

2023年7月26日 · None. Don't buy an SP for gaming, they are underpowered for that job (only having an iGPU) and due to the construction heat up fast, leading to throttling. If you really want a laptop for gaming (my opinion is that it sucks anyway, desktops are way better), look elsewhere.

The main issue was Microsoft signed an exclusivity deal with Qualcomm, so there has been basically no competition in the windows arm space. Now qualcomm may actually have to try with competition from Samsung and mediatek. The possibility of a Samsung windows tablet running high end exynos with rDNA graphics and an oled display is super enticing.

2021年5月30日 · Windows on ARM64 is pretty responsive, but the S7+ beats it here. Windows in tablet form still needs a lot of work. A different onscreen keyboard format from the one I have chosen will randomly pop up on occasion. Switching between landscape and portrait is faster on the S7+. With tablet mode enabled on the SPX you can't resize windows.

If you don't need Windows compatibility, you might consider a Chrome OS tablet like the Lenovo Duet 5 or 3, perhaps a Galaxy Tab S8-series Samsung tablet, or perhaps even an iPad.
