2015年10月30日 · The Lifeproof is a Home Depot branded Allure product and the Stainmaster is partnered with Lowes. Lifeproof is roughly $2.80-3 sq ft and Stainmaster seems to be somewhat cheaper at $2.20-2.75 sq ft. The only complaint that I've consistently read is that an additional underlayment helps with any noise but I fear that may void the warranties.

One of the contractors I was speaking with about replacing carpet asked me if I wanted to have the flooring installed on top of the carpet pad. I thought it strange, but he said that he worked on an apartment complex and they did just that on about 10 units.

I've got a flooring job coming up in about a week in Flagstaff, AZ. It's about 1600 sf of waterproof LVP with pre-attached underlayment. The subfloor is mostly wood (with a cawl space below it) with the exception of a couple rooms that are slab-on-grade.
