Those of you who work at a Lego retail store, what’s it like?
2023年11月10日 · Oh man, I was at a LEGO store last month and there was a kid doing just this... the mother was counting all the coins to make sure the kid had enough. I was wandering around the store looking at the inventory as usual before making my purchase and heading home and they were counting coins the entire time I was there, probably at least 20 minutes!

So I was at the Lego store today and one of the employees was taking apart a section the new large Technic F1 car out of the open box. Confused I asked him about it. He said someone returned it earlier today after finishing bag 1, they decided they weren't a technic person. They returned/exchanged it for something else.

2022年6月16日 · TL;DR - The nearest LEGO Store is a bit far from where I live, and I don't see many reasons to buy there as the price is always higher than online retail stores, which arguably are even more comfortable to buy. First, I'm a 19-year-old boy who, thanks to this sub and the recent AFOL and Adults Welcome movement, got back into buying LEGO.

2013年1月13日 · the pay is pretty terrible. most stores pay less than $1 over minimum wage to the lowest associates, usually around $2 more for supervisors, and then the managers are typical retail store manager salaries. that said, LEGO does give pretty generous year end bonuses to all employees (around 10% of what you made that year for retail employees).
