Don't know what year Ford started with this or on which chassis but you might want to look before looking for upgrades. Bilstien shocks are OEM on mine as well. I do need to do something about sway. I can rock the coach several degrees by HAND with just my weight.

2021年6月26日 · Ford didn't build motorhomes, so what you probably have is a Winnebago Adventurer motorhome on a Ford F53 chassis. The F53 could be either 2002 or 2003 model year, but the brakes are probably the same on either one. The vehicle VIN will show the year.

2012年1月22日 · I recently purchased a 1999 Damon Intruder Class A based on the Ford F53 chassis. I noticed the axle is slightly off. The passenger side wheel is 1 inch further back than the driver side. It drives fine and I don't "feel" it dog tracking.

Generally speaking the F53, was a ‘medium duty’ truck chassis, used for motorhome’s, school buses, garbage trucks, etc., during the era my motorhome was manufactured(1995). What all designations the F53 is used for nowadays, I don’t know.

Have called a couple of Ford Dealerships and was told they do not service Motorhomes. Some RV dealers will do it but are busy. RV dealer quoted 185, One ford Dealer quoted 155.

2011年8月26日 · The fuel pump on my 1994 Damon Intruder failed yesterday. It's on the Ford F53 chassis. The original pump is noted for failing around 50,000 miles, and this one is no exception, with the rig coasting to a stop at 50,025 miles. The surprise was this was a soft failure.
