2021年11月23日 · Ipod touch won't open any apps I have an old iPod touch (from 2008) but when I sync to iTunes, it says it has the latest software. However, I can't open the apple store or any apps. But I can open safari and search the internet. I am connected to my wifi, and I am signed in with my apple ID.

2023年5月29日 · I think I'm correct in stating that access to the iTunes Store from an iPod requires iOS 10.0 or later, which means that your 4th generation iPod Touch can no longer use the Store directly. If you wish to buy music from the iTunes Store, you can do so from iTunes on your computer*, and then use iTunes to copy those purchases to your iPod.

I haven't been able to work out when Wi-Fi Sync was introduced, so you'll have to look for it in the Settings (on the iPod). On a 6th gen Touch, it's in Settings /General / iTunes Wi-Fi Sync. If you have iOS 9 on your iPod, that suggests a 5th generation model.

Although I have a mac mini, ipad air 4 and iphone 12 I am trying to connect an old ipod touch to some Bose speakers via a jackplug which the Bose base unit requires.
