The BMW 325i was first introduced as a variant of the E30 BMW 3 Series. Introduced for the 1986 model year, the 325i was powered by BMW's M20B25 engine, which was a 2.5L inline six unit. This engine produced around 170hp with power running to the rear wheels through manual or automatic transmissions.
