2014年2月9日 · Last time I bought a set (Vizio M-50), I bought from WalMart and purchased a 2-year protection plan. Never needed it for this TV but it would have saved me a good $800 when my Vizio M49 went kaput 13 months after it was purchased. No plan on that one. And for this coming Vizio P75 purchase, a protection plan seems to make sense.

At Amazon, I can place a pre-order whenever I want and they don't touch my credit card at all until the item is ready to be shipped.

I know some guys from the manufacturing plant where they build these TVs, and they now have an Employee & Friends Holiday sale, so I can get the 82840 for $2,350, the 82740 for $2,150 and the 73840 for $1,550.
