I've never had an issue programming via USB to RS-232. I used the Iogear adapter (which is the one recommended by Motorola for all legacy programming via adapter).

2017年2月13日 · I had a Pro-97 and Pro-164 with the RadioShack 20-047 USB cable. This worked fine for these radios. I then bought a used Whistler 1065 to log P25 traffic. The 20-047 worked fine for programming, but when I dumped trunking data from the scanner to the PC, it would lock up the cable and scanner after about 10 minutes of use.

2022年1月4日 · For programming the FT5DR I would just do it via the MicroSD card as previously noted. If I wanted a USB programming cable, the one sold by RTSystems is $30. That same USB-68 cable also works with the Yaesu FT1, FT2, and FT3 handhelds. I own one and use it for Wires-X instead of purchasing the more expensive one from Yaesu.

2015年8月2日 · Windows 10 installed the latest Prolific drivers, as per Prolific download webpage when I plugged the USB adapter in to PC. However those drivers won't work for me. I'll keep checking the Prolific site for updates. Worth noting, Windows 10 installed FTDI drivers for my Radio Shack Serial to USB adaptor with no issues.

I’m happily programming and key loading P7100s with great success… there is a big lump in the programming and keyloading cables, so definitely some electronics involved in making that happen, but I have seven VHF P25C/AES256 P7100s and they work like gangbusters on my IG pool freqs.
