Your T-Mobile hotspot will become a junk when you leaving US and it's territory (ie. Puerto Rico). Most (if not all) hotspot things sold by T-Mobile lack of international LTE bands. However, most places have wi-fi and I will happily save the $$ every month. Also, T-Mobile has been investing heavily in its coverage issues ever since the AT&T merger was called off, so it keeps getting better.

2014年4月8日 · Here is an intersection by me where T Mobile shows 4G LTE. Here is a screenshot of me in that EXACT same spot. If you look at my service bars I get one bar of EDGE. This happens in more 5 locations. I did check and my iPhone supports all of the bands required for T-mobile in my area.
