Unable to change screen resolution for external monitor
2020年2月24日 · I have a Surface Laptop 3, and a Viotek 34" ultrawide monitor, connected through the Microsoft docking station using Display port to Mini-Display port. When I originally connected my laptop, I was able to adjust the external monitor's resolution with no problem.

Anyway, the Surface can extend display up to 2 external monitors. To use 3 external monitors, you'll need to daisy chain the third monitor from one of the first 2 external monitors. If I used HDMI cable from the monitor to a HDMI converter to mini display port everything seems to be working fine.

I was advised by Microsoft t o ensure that I cycled the battery from 85 to 15 instead of keeping the laptop continuously plugged into power.
