2020年5月9日 · Good in theory, but people usually end up forgetting to maintain them over time. Leaning towards Proforged and their sealed chassis parts. I certainly would agree about the sealed parts. I know that 04 Ford Sport Trac had sealed parts and I wasn't too thrilled to go with greasable joints in the lower ball joints.

2020年7月3日 · I cannot comment on RockAuto except they have a lot of "budget" parts made by companies I have never heard of. And I hate the way RockAuto charges for shipping. Hate hate hate. I typically check any part fitment I get from Amazon with what is listed on RockAuto or maybe the manufacture's website.
Ordering parts from RockAuto - A/B/C/etc warehouses aren't fixed?
2005年5月6日 · I've found that Rockauto also sometimes switches which parts come from which warehouse. I wanted to place an order with 3 different parts. The first two parts were coming from the same warehouse A, and the third part was coming from warehouse B. Then I decided to delete the third item from warehouse B.

Since I am not in the auto repair business I am sure there are many brands of parts I have never heard of. But I would (myself) try and avoid buying any parts in the "budget" section unless its to fix a car you are selling or trading in.

2020年11月12日 · The only issue I have is with one specific warehouse. Obviously RockAuto doesn't operate their own warehouses, just contract out. If I get a package coming in from Lakeland NY United Auto Parts warehouse, I can guarantee that I'm going to get the wrong part. It is a fun guessing game to play!
