Lync 2010/2013 client on iOS works with with calender integration Windows Phone 8 with Lync 2013 or Windows 8 App failed to connect to the calender. Its definitely an authentication issue on /Autodiscover/* and /EWS/* directory as Barry mentioned. Unbelievable that Mircrosoft is unable to make it as hassle free for its own platform as for iOs.
