2014年11月7日 · I have a Samsung UHD TV as a monitor (Q7F). Native 4K obviously looks best, but 1440p can look decent in some games. This TV also runs at 120Hz for 1440p or 1080p which makes it an enticing trade. However, the quality can vary greatly by game. Left4Dead, for example, looks great at 1440p and honestly there is little quality loss.

2017年5月22日 · I don't like anything bigger than 32" 4K for use as a monitor because it defeats the whole purpose of having a 4K monitor, that is to not be able to see the pixels. Big 40"+ screens are excellent for a TV that you sit farther from but not as a monitor. The PPI on a 40" 4K is only 110 PPI, 27" is 163 PPI and 32" is 137 PPI .

Pretty much all of these are the same thing - same LG TV panels, varying firmware and port features. If you've been using a 43" monitor, I'd aim at the 42" OLED models instead. They are a more practical size for a desktop unit.

2021年2月16日 · Second reason is the upscaler in my TV is better than the one in my video card, so things aren't as sharp as they should be. The reason I get 4:2:2 is because HDMI 2.0 only has the bandwidth for up to 4:2:2 at 3840x2160 10/12 bit colour at 60hz. Since 4k is the forced signal resolution for my 1080p/1440p HDR settings, I get 4:2:2 1080p/1440p HDR.
