2021年8月20日 · We have the F53 on the 18k, 190 inch chassis. It rides fairly well, for a heavy truck. I added a Safe-T-Plus steering stabilizer and noted that it greatly reduced steering wander at highway speeds and the wind impact of passing trucks.

A steering stabilizer, such as a "Saf-T-Plus", and a rear track bar, such as Ultra-Trac, are almost an absolute necessity for a 40' Newmar Canyon Star "toy Hauler"! These changes would greatly enhance the drivability, and the ride as well!!

2022年9月30日 · The lighter and shorter wheelbase chassis use 19.5″ wheels while the longer, heavier ones use 22.5″ wheels. Larger tires means a better ride and handling. The V8 has massive 2″ wide front and rear sway bars. The shorter wheelbase, lighter chassis with the 19.5″ wheels have the most complaints about the ride and the handling.

I had waited for the new model F-53 chassis to be released in 2020, not only for the new V8 engine, but the improved chassis suspension as I had read the blogs regarding the chassis and steering problems on the pre-2020 models.

They have a factory in Georgia, but have a dealer/installer near you: However, their website doesn't list a model for the 2020+ F53 chassis.
