2013年9月3日 · The ones you saw for sale measured 15x5.5" and were used on 1965-67 Thunderbirds as well as '66-67 Ford Galaxie 7-Litres which were all equipped with Kelsey Hayes front brakes. Incidentally, those would fit fine on your '66 Galaxie XL. Ford ran 15x6" wheels on 1966 R-codes, wagons and all full-size police packages.

I also ordered this kit Moser Engineering R9FBS: Differential Installation Kit Ford 9" | JEGS which should let me use the new carrier to install my new ring and pinion without having to change anything else. All this because someone didn't take the time to re-torque a couple of bolts.

I rebuilt the 2bbl but then destroyed the original radiator (that was a bad day). Decided to go a different route with good tires, sound braking, and nimble suspension to ensure safe driving.
