2022年12月22日 · Honestly more so than most games, I find strategy games realtime or turn based strategy/rpgs really good for keeping me engaged or my mind off things when I'm depressed. XCOM, StarCraft, old school fallout, Wasteland, Halo wars, iron harvest.

2022年6月28日 · I teared up in several games honestly but To The Moon is definitely one of the top tier that pulverized me to the ground. I cried A LOT in this game, it was the only game from a library of sad titles that actually made me cry happy tears rather than sad ones.

I have very little interest in video games when I'm actually depressed. There's just no motivation in me to really care. They feel pointless to me. When I am simply feeling sad and lonely (which a lot of people mistake for depression imo) however, video games are definitely one of my main escapes that help lift my spirits up.

This feeling isn't exclusive to video games either. I've had that same feeling with shows like Cowboy Bebop and I've heard of people feeling that way after finishing books and movies. As for specific video games that made me feel this way; the first three that come to mind are NieR: Automata, Outer Wilds and Bioshock: Infinite's Burial At Sea DLC.
