2020年8月1日 · i recieved an email from ms support about a subscription to pc world geek squad team saying i was getting billed 299.99 for 12 months. it was signed donald williams and phone number 1-808-800-0378 is this real and should i alert my bank - - This message is not from MSN or Microsoft, even if it appears to be. This is a scam attempt.

Geek Squad is terrible in my personal opinion, and I don't recommend getting a warranty with them in the future, but in any event, this appears to be a breach of contract. A breach of contract simply means that one party was obligated to perform and they have either not performed or have said that they will not perform.

No telling what they did however it sure sounds like they did not check it closely afterwards which is typical of a poor and sloppy service dept. Problem Activating License After Geek Squad Re-Installed Windows
I had a massive virus and went to Geek Squad to have them wipe/rebuild the computer. The new Vista is now asking me to activate windows, but I do not have the product keys. Can you help me with either a general product key or let me know what I need to do fix this problem. Everytime the computer is turned on it is asking me to activate windows.
