2017年7月13日 · However, the difference comes in the mounting system: the AEV rack mount, the Rhino Backbone, and the Maximus mounting feet are all different (and measure at different heights from roofline to rack). The AEV mounting feet stand about an inch taller than the Maximus feet (if memory serves).

AEV roof rack for Jk on a LJ (is it possible??)
2013年4月28日 · Talked to AEV. Both are just sold out and they are waiting for a new shipment to come in. Roof racks should be in in a few weeks. I guess there is a waiting list for the brute kits. The guy I spoke to said they are still in high demand.

2009年12月28日 · Actually, the bar distances on the flat rack *can* be a big deal for bike racks. Depending on how many and where they are, it's quite conceivable they won't work for some racks. In particular, the fork mount bike racks need bars fairly close together. The Thule "Sidearm" rack is even worse in that it requires a fairly specific bar distance, IIRC.
