Raw materials wise, you can go to Alibaba and put in an order with Xiamen TH Sports LTD or Jasde Golf and get clubs for $2 - $8 a head at the most, and golf shafts are $3, and grips $1. These sets cost Callaway about $100 with shipping when it's all said and done.

As for the bag, honestly, I like the 14 divider bags. I bought an OGIO Grom years ago on sale for $120. I feel you could research bags a little more and decide what it best for you.

Callawaypreowned.com is a good place to but used to like new clubs and they also have a return policy. The Costco gloves and ball are the only thing a beginner should buy there. Good luck

One advantage I had is that I was taught to do most stuff from the right side (including golf), and now I can actually play from the left if need be.
