If gaming is a priority I actually would get the IPS, VA screens tend to smear badly in dark scenes (I have the LG UD3259-B and is super smeary even visible while browsing the web).

Zooming desktop produces blurred images because it effectively scales the desktop, like scaling a small image in a bigger one. This results in having a 4K monitor that is less sharp than a FullHD monitor.

2018年8月31日 · I usually game at 1440p, or 2560x1080, only 4K on old games (my 1060 can't push that much). 4K looks great. 1440p looks very good. Only 1080p looks visibly fuzzier, but then again my face is a mere 2/3 feet from the screen. Bottom line - it's fine, depending on distance, for 1080p, but 1440p looks perfectly OK at 40". Maybe that benchmark has gone higher.. so why not if thats the new norm. In built TV/ Android is a nice add on, but not critical. Please share some insights if you have. Links/ Prices.

Pretty much all of these are the same thing - same LG TV panels, varying firmware and port features. If you've been using a 43" monitor, I'd aim at the 42" OLED models instead. They are a more practical size for a desktop unit.

Some 4K TV's and monitors can do a 4:1 mapping of pixels to produce a reasonably clear 1080P display. 4K is 8,294,400 pixels.
