FC Goa started the match strongly and their persistence eventually bore fruit when Sahil Tavora found Boris Singh on the right flank with acres of space. The winger tried his luck from a narrow angle and Blasters goalkeeper Sachin Suresh failed to parry the ball away and conceded the goal.

FC Goa clinched their 50th clean sheet in the competition and continued their formidable form as they edged past Kerala Blasters FC 1-0.

Boris Singh scored the only goal of the game as the Gaurs picked up a 1-0 win on the road against KBFC to register their fourth win of the season and climb to fifth in the standings with 15 points from 9 outings this season.
