Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating six separate shootings that left three people dead and eight people wounded on Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1.

A child died overnight after gunfire in New Orleans. “On Saturday, November 30, 2024, at approximately 11:20 p.m., NOPD responded to a report of a 3-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound,” according to a news release.
