A British woman claimed she lost her vision and became violently ill after drinking vodka at the Nana Backpacker Hostel in Vang Vieng, Laos where six people have since died

A British backpacker who drank at the same Laos hostel as Australian victims Holly Bowles and Bianca Jones has revealed she became severely sick two days before the Australian teenagers were hospitalised.

A backpacker who stayed at the hostel at the centre of a "mass methanol poisoning" incident in Laos has claimed the venue would give out free shots in exchange for good reviews.
