Last week, President-elect Donald Trump unveiled his latest business venture: signed “Make America Great Again” guitars selling for as much as $11,500. They may not be available much longer, since Gibson has accused the guitar’s maker of ripping off their own design.

Gibson Brands, the historic maker of guitars such as the Les Paul, has accused 16 Creative, the agency behind Trump Guitars, of trademark infringement. The company issued a cease-and-desist letter, citing the unauthorized use of the Les Paul body shape.

A Nashville-based guitar company doesn’t want President-elect Trump strumming up profits with their design. Gibson Guitars has served up 16 Creative, the owners of Trump Guitars, with a cease-and-desist order for trademark design infringement.
