In Gandey, Hemant Soren’s wife, Kalpana Soren, was leading with over 13,000 votes. While Kalpana Soren secured 1,11,618 of the total votes counted, the BJP’s Muniya Devi was trailing behind with 98,562 votes.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's Hemant Soren won the Barhait seat with total votes 95612. Soren won with a voting margin of 39791 votes against Bharatiya Janata Party's Gamliyel Hembrom. Barhait Assembly seat is one of the 3 assembly seats in the Sahebganj district of Jharkhand.

I.N.D.I.A leads with 51 seats, overtaking NDA. Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s JMM aims to retain power amid predictions favoring both alliances. Key candidates include Hemant Soren and Babulal Marandi.

The INDIA bloc, led by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, won 56 out of the 81 Assembly seats as per the elections results announced by the Election Commission on Saturday.
