A cylinder explosion at the General Motors Factory Zero assembly plant in Detroit and Hamtramck sent an employee to the hospital on Thanksgiving Day. The explosion happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. The worker with non-life-threatening injuries was transported to a hospital, Fire Department spokesperson Cory McIsaac said in a text message.
