Established towards the end of 2020 to address isolation caused by the pandemic, ITReUse takes unused devices from the public and gives them to those in need. We refurbish PCs (laptops, desktops) and mobile devices which we then use to bridge the digital divide by supplying them for free to the 15,000 people in York who don't have a device or an internet connection. Can you imagine living today without access to a smartphone? You need an internet-capable device of some kind to do essential activities like access benefits, use NHS services and stay in touch with family. Help us bridge the digital divide and bring in your unused tech today.
